Copy a Flowchart to Word or PowerPoint

FlowBreeze Flowchart Software Top  Previous  Next

The flowchart symbols and other shapes used by FlowBreeze are Microsoft Office Autoshapes. Because the Autoshapes are native to Microsoft Office, you can copy and paste these directly into Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher and they will still be editable in the target document.

How to Copy and Paste

1. Use the Shape Selection Tool to select select all the symbols.

2. Use the standard Excel copy function (via the toolbar, ribbon, or Edit menu).

3. Open up the target file, and paste the flowchart.

A Note on Word and Styles

Word will change the font in the flowchart symbols to whatever the Normal style is. To change the font in the flowchart shapes you will need to create a new Style and apply it to all the shapes in the flowchart. You will need to refer to your Word help files for documentation on how to create and apply Styles.

Also, Word does not support vertical text alignment within shapes. All text will be aligned to the top of the symbol, and there is no way to change this.
