Step 1 - Start Flowcharting
Because FlowBreeze is an Excel add-in, it will load until Excel but remain idle until you start a flowcharting session. It will operate on only one worksheet at a time, so you can start a flowcharting session and switch over to another worksheet without fear that it will inadvertently generate a flowchart symbol any time you edit the sheet.
How to Start a Flowcharting Session
1. The first step to creating a flowchart is to click the Start button.
(If you are running a trial version of FlowBreeze, you will be greeted by a trial reminder window. If so, you will need to click the "Continue" button to proceed.)
2. You will be prompted with the Start Flowcharting window.
(For this tutorial, we will keep all of the default settings. For more information on the options, see the Start Flowcharting window section.)
3. Click the Start button on the bottom of the Start Flowcharting dialog.
4. FlowBreeze will generate a Terminator symbol, as shown below.
 Terminator Symbol.
The gray row and column shading acts as a guideline to keep shapes aligned.
Note that the cursor is positioned below the symbol, ready for the next entry. The gray lines are guidelines. Entering text within the vertical and horizontal guidelines will ensure that the symbols will be automatically aligned by FlowBreeze.
