Step 3 - Add Decision

 

Decisions are symbols that indicate a fork in the process. A special feature of FlowBreeze is that any entry containing a question mark (?) will generate a Decision symbol. Another special feature is that FlowBreeze will generate branch labels for the Decision, e.g., Yes/No, Pass/Fail, etc.

 

Creating a Decision Symbol

 

Enter the text "decision?" in the next cell, as shown below.

FlowBreeze will prompt you to add branch labels. (You can set it to turn this feature off, or to just add default labels in the Decisions tab of the Settings window). the default labels are "No" for the right label and "Yes" for the bottom label.

 

In this exercise, put "Pass" for the Bottom label and clear the entry for the Right label (we'll get back to that in the next section).

As show below, the Decision symbol is generated along with the "Pass" branch label.
