License Agreement FAQ

Where can I read the license agreement?
The license agreement is included in the FlowBreeze Help file. An online version of it can be found by clicking here.

How many computers can I install FlowBreeze on?
FlowBreeze is licensed per user. The licensed user may install the software on a work computer, home computer, and a portable laptop, as long as the licensee is the primary user of each system.

Can two or more people in an organization share a copy of FlowBreeze?
No. The software is licensed per user.

What if I get a new computer (or rebuild an existing one)?
You can install FlowBreeze on the new (or rebuilt) system without a problem.

What if I lose my license registration code?
Contact support@breezetree.com, and your registration code will be emailed to you.

Is there an annual subscription fee?
No. When you purchase a license it is permanent.

What is the upgrade policy?
Minor version (e.g., 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, ...) updates are always free. Major version upgrades (e.g., 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, ...) are free for 1 year for site licensees and 90 days for individual licensees.

What is the support policy?
Site licensees get free support for one year after the purchase. Individual licensees get free email support for 90 days after the purchase. However, beyond that period no reasonable support request will be denied, and historically less than 1% of FlowBreeze users ever require assistance.

Is BreezeTree Software willing to change the terms of the license agreement?
In general, no. FlowBreeze is sold with the license agreement as-is.

What are the benefits of a Site License?
A Site License includes the following:

• Unlimited installations at a single site.
• One year of free upgrades
• One year email support
• Renewable for 20% / yr.
• Self-registering installation for easier deployment (upon request).

How is a "Site" defined?
The license Agreement defines Site as follows:

"Site" shall be defined as a single facility or group of facilities in a single metropolitan area or close physical proximity. Separate Site Licenses must be purchased for each Site that does not meet these criteria. We retain the right to grant site licenses to organizations that do not strictly meet these qualifications.

However, a single site license can also cover an organization with fewer employees in multiple offices. Contact sales@breezetree.com for any questions regarding applicability.

What is the annual maintenance agreement for site licenses?
It is an optional maintenance fee that covers all major version upgrades after the first year. The cost is 20% of the site license list price. If you choose not to buy a maintenance agreement, you can still purchase a major version upgrade at 40% of the site license price, whenever they come available.

Refund Policy and Satisfaction Guarantee

BreezeTree Software has a 30-day money back guarantee. If you decide that you would like a refund, please contact support@breezetree.com. Your refund will be processed promptly. For orders that included a CD-ROM, the CD must be returned before the refund will be processed. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Purchase Orders

If you prefer to be invoiced, BreezeTree Software will accept purchase orders directly. Purchase orders can be emailed to sales@breezetree.com or faxed to 1-815-301-9585. We cannot take purchase orders or credit cards over the phone.

The following terms and conditions apply:

• All purchases orders will be reviewed prior to approval.
• The minimum order amount is $100 (USD).
• Additional fees may apply for complex purchase orders or special shipping requirements.
• Upon approval, customers in the U.S. will be sent a license key and be invoiced.
• The terms are Net 30 from the date of the invoice and license delivery.
• Purchases orders originating outside the U.S. must be prepaid before the license is delivered.
• Purchase orders need to include the following information:
  • Name (point of contact)
  • Company Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Fax number (if available)
  • Email address
  • Shipping terms: For electronic delivery.
• If you are a reseller purchasing on behalf of another company, please include the client's company name and point of contact information.

CD-ROM Shipments

FlowBreeze is available by electronic delivery by default. If you opt to order a CD backup, orders are typically shipped within one business day. Shipments to U.S. locations are sent by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. International CD shipments are sent by air mail.
