Excel Formatting and Style Operations

Spreadspeed offers the following tools to manage worksheet cell formatting and styles.

Reset All Cell Styles

This tool will delete all the custom cell styles from the current workbook.

Delete Unused Custom Cell Styles

This tool will identify and delete all the custom cell styles that are unused cell styles from the current workbook.

Selectively Clear Formats

The built-in Clear Formats feature in Excel is all or nothing. With the Selectively Clear Formats tool, you can select a range and choose which formatting options to clear - borders, fill colors, font styles, number formats (numeric and date), or text alignments.

Clear Excess Formatting

To minimize the memory footprint of a worksheet and speed up spreadsheet operations, Clear Excess Formatting will first run the worksheet utility Reset Used Range, and then it will clear the formatting in all rows and columns that extend beyond the used range.

Convert Merged Cells To Center Across Selection

This tool will identify all the merged cells in the selected range, un-merge them, and then convert them into Center Across Selection format.
